Penlight Slone
A handful of "home office" collaborations put together over recent months to alleviate the boredom of not playing live. Topics covered include blue feet, home renos, composting and world domination

Fair Dinkum Steve. In fact, exemplary mix and production, I'd say. Hey, our last names are only separated by three measly letters

Re: Penlight Slone
Three tracks in, and the goosebumps won't stop.
Seriously. I REALLY like this.
There's a funky but ice-cold vibe reminiscent of 90's trip-hop, combined with the unpolished vocals…it does something that really gets me.
Keep listening…. "Unify" just took me way out somewhere else. That totally overloaded synth pad stuff gliding all over the place is just…wow.

Wow Chris, that really means a lot coming from you, thanks man. You're right, I never escaped the 90s, but I'll have you know I polished those vocals a LOT to make them sound like that (imagine how bad they were before!) Really stoked you enjoyed it.

Re: Penlight Slone
Hi all,
Another small handful of home office collaborations. I know things are getting back to normal in other countries, but it still feels pretty far from that here in Switzerland. The funk band is back on holding pattern, and my originals band suffers from that typically Swiss malady lead-singer-recovering-from-broken-pelvis-after-ski-trip.
