Nord User Forum

Hello all nice to meet you. My gear consists of a Nord stage 4 and a Roland ax synth. I am a classically trained pianist, I enjoy playing video game music like final fantasy and chrono trigger. About a year ago I joined my first band, a foo fighter tribute band. It’s going ok, I knew I needed to bring more than piano so I just dove right in. I have no experience with synths or Nord but I’m learning fast and it’s all very exciting. Some foo fighter songs are easy to figure out like sky is a neighborhood, I use A58, the choir mms. However im struggling to figure out what sounds I should play for a lot of their library, and I often will default to a low level b3 sound. I’d welcome any suggestions the community might have to offer.

Thanks for the tips im soaking it all in. Here's a request and maybe this is in the wrong forum section, im looking for suggestions on what sound/patch I should use for My Hero by Foo Fighters. Trying to find my place in this song when playing with a band.
