First let me introduce myself, I'm a 22 year old pianist / artist / carpenter from Arizona, USA! I've been playing piano for 17 years, a Nord user for 4 four years, and a lurker of this forum for a couple of those. I upgraded from a Nord Piano 2 to the Nord Grand last year, and was having some annoyance with my flimsy metal stand shifting around too much while playing aggressively. Missing the feel of playing on an acoustic piano and not being able to justify spending ~$800 on Nord's official wooden stand, I decided to build my own! It's made to look like an old upright piano base, and really feels like it with the sturdiness it provides.
