Finally ... I'm using my NW2 ...

Yesterday I got this finished (?) after a two week struggle and was using my NW2 with home made sounds for all the synth stuff. DAWs used are Logic and Live. 8-)

Very nice contrast of voice and sounds! Veeery well done.

Is the sound really floating or is this a misconception because of the pictures?

@FZiegler: Interesting comment, please explain "floating"? /BR Michael

Edit: I had the final mix checked by Martin Hedin of Andromeda and he thougt it was OK with no major flaws.

It seemed to me as if you used a MW or LFO to slightly move soundshape within dozens of seconds - through HPF/LPF or the like. But it might also be an impression coming from the shifting bubbles in the video.

@FZiegler: Yes, there are subtle movements everywhere in the synth sounds, I guess. That is by purpose to avoid being too boring for the listener. Thanks for noticing! Hopefully it stays under the limit for annoyment? /BR, Michael

In my eyes, it's well seasonned. It works well because the voice is floating free above the wobbling depths of sound.

Is it all done with the NW2? You make a very good case for it as a all-in-one board!
By the way, is it the only Nord you have now? :o
Should we be worried? What happened to your "collect them all" motto? :D

Nice track Marlowes. I love that main bass sound. Its metallic aggression gives a nice drive to the otherwise ethereal sound of the song.
