Good Morning y'all!
I am a brand new Electro 3 73HP owner... An accessory question if you wouldnt mind...
Will the Nord half moon switch work with the HP? Mounting properly and such?
Does the Nord keyboard legs/stand work with the HP?
Details arent very clear on the site, this is what forums are for right?
Thank you for the responses in advance, its appreciated

Hi Tommy,
Welcome to the forum!
The Nord half moon switch is intended for the C1 & C2 organs.
The NE3 HP doesn't have the threaded mounting holes on it's underside, and the switch jack configuration is different "TRS verses TS".
A standard 2 position
half moon switch can be adapted by soldering a 1/4" TS plug on the end of the wire and mounting via double sided tape or velcro, I used this for years with my NE2.
The
KEYBOARD STAND EX "legs kit" will work for the NE3 HP.
Cheers, Hanon

Thanks for the reply... Seems the legs WONT work properly with the NE3HP... It requires 4 threaded holes on the underside, and its only got two on each side... Kinda disappointing... Made it work, cause who the hell carries a spare stand??
Sent it up the chain to Nord, we'll see what happens.. Theyve been awesome so far...

Hi Tommy,
I promise you that the stand legs kit WILL work for the NE3 HP. "I've witnessed it with my own eyes"

It'll be interesting to see what Nord has to say, since it is advertised as compatible on their website. While I'm occasionally wrong, they rarely are.
It's NOT like the Rhodes, where the legs screw right into the underside of the chassis.
For the Nord instruments there's a header on each side that the legs screw on to. see photo of the kit:

As for the half moon switch, I'll be posting a tutorial of how to make one out of an original Leslie switch, next week.
I bought two of the switches on e8ay for $75

Hanon,
Yeah, allegedly the legs will work... My HP3, and the US rep's HP3 have two of the four holes threaded on each side... call it the bottom of the bracket... Where the top of the bracket goes, are two holes unthreaded, and two "punch out" holes that are certainly not threaded.. So, either these two were made by drunk monkeys on friday, or something changed...
Its been more than a week since this went up the chain (I was cc'd in on the conversation) and nary a word... Kinda disappointing, like the lack of case... I blew $200.00 USD on the legs, and they are.. Unusable.. Cases, arent even in China yet... Or maybe they are by now... I was told October, maybe... Like I will be carrying a $2600.00 USD keyboard around without a case...
Yeesh...

I haven't seen one like that yet, there are a couple new threads citing possible quality control issues.
If it helps, I'll buy the legs from you, I was going to buy a set for my NSEx.
I'm in Florida.
PM me with the payment details.
Cheers, Hanon

Figured out the legs problem with help from Pablo (US Tech Rep) and Nord themselves... Seems as though a few HP3's escaped before having a small piece of foam cut away to allow the upper screws to be placed... Poked a hole with centerpunch, ran the screw in there... Found the nut and away we go...
So, it DOES work... Imagine my hesitancy in monkeying around with a 2.5K$ USD keyboard though...

Hi Tommy,
thanks for posting back with the solution.
Pablo is a great US rep for Clavia.
Cheers, Hanon
{edit} I have uploaded the Nord instruction sheet PDF for the Stand Ex legs kit in this thread:

Hi Jazzfer,
looks great! And it is perfectly stable?
Only need to find out what tool to use and what exact rivets. But from the Nord Solution, I reckon they use screws instead with a screw thread built in into the bottom of the keyboards or am I wrong? But rivets might work well also. Do you maybe have a link or so what kind of rivets plus tool to use??
Thanks, Johannes
