private messaging

I just tried to send a pm. It says it was sent x minutes ago, but is in my outbox, not my sent messages folder as I would have expected.

Sorry if this is a daft noob (or schoolboy) error, but could anyone tell me if this is correct, or if it just takes a while to get to the sent messages? Or if there is something wrong?

I've never quite understood this either...perhaps it doesn't migrate to SENT until it's been read by recipient?

Pablo is right on the money. It will bet on the outbox until read by the recipient on the forum. I agree it's a bit strange but it's standard in the forum software used here. Notably because it is also send via email to the user, so he might well have read it this way.

Sorry for the confusion but that's the explanation.
