Layering piano and organ - organ B3 trigger point
Possibly buying a NE5 73 but I hope that someone can explain how the high trigger point for B3 works when combining organ and piano in a layer.
If the high trigger point is set for B3 will the piano still use both trigger points (for velocity) for the piano sound? So pressing a key slowly will first activate the organ on high trigger and then trigger the piano after reaching the low trigger?
In this case, what will be sent via midi, the high trigger (fixed velocity), low trigger (dynamic velocity) or selectable?
Can't fint the answer via the manual, anybody to confirm?

I think that E5 sends low trigger with MIDI, enabling velocity. At least that would make sense. I also don't remember finding anything about changing MIDI trigger points in my school's E5D.

I think in MIDI the NE always sends full dynamic velocity, the high-trigger is used internally only (when enabled) and should work also when playing Organ in a Layer (i.e. organ should trigger first); I have a NS2 and it works this way, so I expect NE is the same.

The high-trigger in the Electro 5 HP is present? I have readed in this forum about the 5HP doesn't have high-trigger feature...
My setup:
Korg SV1 BK73 - Numa Organ 2 - Nord Lead A1 - Novation Bass Station II - Ibanez SR1005EFN - Armon P300 - FBT ProMaxx 12A - Proel Tube100USB - Ibanez SB7 & AP7 - Boutique Overdrive & Crunch - Reference Laboratory cables

Thank you all, the answers seem logical and just as I hoped for.

That is correct, from the manual (System menu):AinTziLLo wrote:The high-trigger in the Electro 5 HP is present? I have readed in this forum about the 5HP doesn't have high-trigger feature...
8 - ORGAN B3 TRIG gives you the option of Fast and Slow trigger modes. In Fast mode notes will be triggered earlier when pressing down on a key. this menu option is not present on the Nord Electro 5 HP model.
but the OP indicated a NE73 (non HP, I assume)
