Hi Folks,

I never played this song, but I like the beginning and the sound ;)
Greetings,
Alex

I agree!
+1
As usual, very well played Alex!
Great job with the patch too, spot on.
Don't leave this part out ;)

one of my favorite songs and i'd never attempt it without a Gillan-calibre singer.. great job on the sound - that percussion is dangerous!

Here's my quick impression of the Child in time patch. It's an amazing patch! It's one of those patches where you just want to play that song in a band because of the patch

@ChuckB or any NS2 user:
Could you post maybe the Drawbar settings plus all Hammond+FX related settings so I can try this patch out on the NS EX? Would be great to also compare the sound of the Stages... Thanks!
Cheers J

Hi Johannes,
another user requested the patch for the NSEx a couple days ago.
Here's the thread with demo and patch:

Hi,
sorry for the late answer. A sound for the EX seems to be already available now, but as there are still other models out there, here are the settings:
Lower manual: 008600000
Upper manual: 808800000, vibrato:off, percusion: fast decay:on , 3rd harmonic: off, volume soft: off
Rotary drive: 3.5
Reverb: Hall1 5.3
That's all.
BTW, something I noticed, maybe you already know it:
You can read the settings of the "normal" knobs without changing their stored values when you press the shift button while moving them.

Hi Alex,
thanks for the settings. IN fact, the other Deep Purple Patches were more of the Highway Star type, a bit crunchier than Child in Time, so thanks!

Seriously???? That is a feature that has been asked for for the Classic, EX,... I wasn't aware that the NS2 got this feature. (EDIT: Just found it was introduced with OS v1.24. Too bad it's NS2-only).
Cheers, Johannes
