Can anyone give me any ideas why my C1 just suddenly stopped sending midi data ?

before your fellow C1 owners get into the nitty gritty of MIDI settings on the C1 (or the device you are expecting to receive midi on), it's worth checking the plugs for a bent pin! I almost drove myself mad once until i discovered this particular incident.
Even if you are using USB, it's still probably worth changing the cable... (and trying a different socket on the receive end if you can). If you are using a USB hub, check it has power!
