Hello All,
This is an attack brass patch that I put together on my M3 then sampled for use with Nord instruments.

These are all sampled from my instrument and not from any existing recordings, or any existing licensed sample sets.
These are freely shared for use by NordUserForum members for performance and recordings and license is hereby granted for said usage, but not to be sold as an individual sample, samples, or part of a sample collection.

Both demo s of the sound are using the NE3 with reverb and Chor1 and a little EQ.

Thanks, Hanon. I can't wait to try the mariachi brass on my NS2 tomorrow. I don't have an M3, but I get some pretty decent combination brass patches on my M50. I am going to try layering 2 of your samples, mariachi brass and SFZ brass. I bet the combination will be a killer!

Very nice brass patches, Hanon! With all of your brass samples the NS2 is getting closer to producing the awesome brass sounds in the Motif and in several Korg synths, especially if I layer 2 of your samples together.

You really rescued the pathetic offerings in the brass sounds we originally all got from Nord when the NS2s were released.

Hello Spike,
thanks for your kind words.
I'm glad that you find them useful.

I'm hoping for some more feedback from the forum as to how my brass samples could be better, or more useful.
Either target some specific songs, youtube videos, or just good old fashioned descriptions like brighter, this one, but in octaves...etc.

I am afraid that after 11 years and not writing for some time, Hanon_CTS is no longer following (his profile reports "Last visited = 10 May 2018, 22:57").
But you may try to resample them to obtain what you need.
