output mono or stereo NE5?

sorry , but there is a mono output for both layer Part Upper and Lower Part ? NE5 only comes out in stereo ? no mono ( R or L ) ?

The manual is your friend:
page 16
OUTPUT ROUTINGMODE lets you choose either
the default stereooption or the Partl: l, PartU : r setting. In stereo mode Part lower and
Part Upper will be routed to both outputs, in
stereo. With Partl: l, PartU : r activated Part
lower is routed to the left output and Part
Upper to the right, both being in mono.

...then to use the split / layer feature you must use two speakers... o_O

I split mine at last weekend's gig, separating bass and piano outputs to the mixing board. Worked like a charm!

I had this intuition , I was wondering if you can make out in both the mono channel R and L with single mono cable !?
The synth YAMAHA has the right output in Mono and combines both channels !!!

A lot of keyboard have a single jack output in order to send every sound (mono or stereo) to a single speaker... my Electro 3 do it... my Lead A1 do it too... it's very strange if is not possible on an Electro 5... is the Electro 5 the first Nord Keyboard that needs two speakers to work???
