Hello,

I want to buy a Nord Electro 5HP as soon as it will be available in Germany.
As I will use it for gigging and sessions quite a lot I am looking for a light bag or case which fits in the backseat of my car and should have wheels on it.
The original bag recommended for it (NS76/NE73) is a little to long for my backseat and I often heared that the quality is not that good - for thus the price seems a bit high.

Therefore I am thinking about buying one of these bags/cases:
- SKB 1SKB-4214W
- Gator GKPE-61-TSA
- Soundwear Professional 29113

Does anyone of you own one of these cases/bags and can tell me about his experience with it (i.e. together with NE3HP or NE4HP) or can give me an advise which other cases/bags are ideal for the NE5HP?

Hey, I can't help you with the bag, but musicworldbrilon (german shop with online store) already has the electro 5 hp in stock in case you can't wait like I couldn't
I bought my electro 5d 61 earlier this week and it arrived a day later.

Good luck with finding a case that fits in your car!

NE73 in very good. I have NE361 for NE5D. Marvolus!!!

I have gigged with this case for over 10 years. It has held up well and more importantly protected the key board.

I have used it with an NE3 and NE4 HP you may want to give it a try.

unfortunately the backseat of my car is only 131cm and this case is about 144cm long.
So this case might be good but doesn't fit in my car.

Anyone with experiences with other cases or with one oft these mentioned above?

I am looking around for a soft bag for my future NE5HP. I am an urban gigger, going around by metro, bus, walking and possibly bike, no car, no roadies :->.
One of (not the only the reason to prefer the NE5HP over other stage pianos is weight; if i buy an 8Kg bag with wheels and everything, i go back to a 20Kg piano.

So, i am looking for light bag; i have found this Roland bag that have the right dimensions and it is light http://www.thomann.de/fr/roland_cb_61_rl.htm, but i have no
idea if it can hold the NE5HP weight.

I have the Gator 88 slim bag (they have shorter models) for my NP2.

Very light and surprisingly sturdy, with wheels. Lots of pockets too.

You mean the GK88 ? Still 22 lbs from the site :-< ..

The HP4 should be able to fit into the GK61, which is 17 lbs... So that's a little bit lighter ;p
