Hey Everyone!
I am a fairly new Nord Stage 2 user- and new to sound layering and such. i am playing in a 90's show in June and have all my sounds programmed except for one. In Michael Jacksons Black or White- right before the rap, there is a crazy keyboard thing happening. Would someone be willing to help me with this please?

That's just a synth running up and down through the standard E-minor blues scale (e, g, a, Bb, b, d, e) over several octaves. You *might* be able to get the arpeggiator to that by holding down the six notes of the scale, but honestly, you're probably better off programming the synth sound in whatever you want, and sequencing that in Logic or Cubase or whatever you're using, recording from there and assigning the sample to a key on the Stage using the sample editor.

I played that song some years ago. I think i cut this synth sound from the original recording.
I have a drum loop (one bar), with a metronome also for the drummer (muted only in the rap part) and with a fader in my juno g controlled this fx in the right moment! Lot's of fun ! Great song.

What Analogize and Leo says is right....in my opinion the best thing you can do is to sample it directly from the original record and assign it on a low or high key.. as that part is "alone" in the original recording :-)
and maybe you can do also without click as is veeeeeeery fast....once the drummer has the sample in his monitor , and the song is played "very close" to the original bpm , you shouldn't have problems.
