NE5 Set List Memory?
I see from the specs that the NE5 has 400 program slots (8x50).
I also understand 4 sound slots are available per song in Set List mode, but what I haven't been able to figure out after poking around the specs is how many songs are available in each set list, and whether you can store more than one set list at a time.
Anybody know?
TIA,
OrpheusNYC

Re: NE5 Set List Memory?
Are you asking if there is a... List of Set Lists?
There is no manual to download, so only people with the instrument could answer this.
I have not heard anybody here has one yet, so you might have to wait until there is one.
Even it there isn't a List of Set Lists, you could get round by making a single long list with some entries with separator names like "-----" or "List 1---", etc.

Re: NE5 Set List Memory?
The promotional material references "creating different set lists for different bands," but doesn't say how many, or whether they can be stored onboard at the same time.

True, it sounds like it should. It could be that you can save them via the sound manager, like the bundles, but who knows! Best to wait until the manual is out to be absolutely sure.

Re: NE5 Set List Memory?
Now that the manual is out, I believe I can answer my own question.
If I interpret the diagram on p. 11 of the manual correctly, it appears that the Electro 5 can hold four set lists at the same time, each with 50 songs in it.
Nice and capacious set list memory

And then you are going to have the fullest inbox ever. With its additional mutitimbral feature, this thing is going to sell like hotcakes. Personally, I think people are going to view it as a budget Stage and grab it with both hands.pablomastodon wrote:I hope/expect to have one 2nd week of Ma

The 5D manual is out now. So I guess the pictures there reveal some of the first presets. Italian Grand Faz is the choosen XL piano...

Re: NE5 Set List Memory?
The NE5 set list feature allows 200 "songs" which you give a name to. You can save links to 4 existing patches within each song. Although the 200 songs are implemented as 4 banks of 50 songs, this seems to be just a numbering system as I don't think you can do anything separately with each bank. What range of these songs you consider to be one set list is up to you.

Re: NE5 Set List Memory?
There are 4 Setlists, 1 through 4. Each Setlist has 50 songs and each song can hold 4 programs. Have a look at my demo. These songs all reference the programs. It's a brilliant feature. I'm working with 3 different bands so I can have a different list for each band.orpheusnyc wrote:I see from the specs that the NE5 has 400 program slots (8x50).
