Dire Straits - Brothers In Arms

For what it's worth... here's a patch for Brothers In Arms we were experimenting with (*note that for safety reasons
thunder is not included).
I used the Nord "Full Orchestra" sample and added a synth and some B3 organs. I exploited touch, mod wheel and splits as much as I could and the result is kindof OK...
As all the synth slots are already used up, you'd have to switch to another program for the accordian-ish sound that comes in on the opening lyric, or use an external device (my current thinking).
(edit) Oops. Noticed I forgot the MP3.... here's a quick one (just the sound/program, no thunder, guitar, Knopflers ...)

Oops again. I lied. The string sample is "StringOrchestra" from Nord site (Acoustic Strings section) NOT "Full Orchestra"!

Much appreciated. You know a little thanks makes all the difference after you go to the effort to connect up, upload the patch and make an MP3 demo... even if the playing is often ropey!

Hi LastStraw,
While it may be possible, it will be extremely difficult and a considerable piece of work. The way Neo said "Sure" makes it sound simple, quick and easy, but it isn't....just so you know what a nice guy he is!
Bless,
Pablo

I was really nice I would have spent time adjusting the loop points on each sample to get the filesize down, but I am lazy
Here's the .nsmp file - It's pretty big because it includes C1 to C7 at 3 semitone intervals, but I include the project file so you can edit it.
The big brassy sounds are from C1 to E3, organ and strings from F3 to E5 and lone organ from F5 to C7
I automated the sampling via MIDI (told you I was lazy) - you can have the raw WAV but it's 60Mb so may be too big to upload here
