Nord Stage and how to create a split?

Hello! I'm from Norway, and have had my Nord Stage Ex 88 for about 6 months. I have not tried out so much of all the possibilities yet, but I'm very satiesfied with what I hear!! But I have one problem. I can't manage to create a split with 2 different sounds - one for the upper keyboard and one for the lower. I have the manual - both in .pdf and "paper" - and I know that Clavia have written about the topic. Maybe it's my english knowledge - or more - the lack of it - but I think it's not a good explanation of how to do it. It's just like they're let some information out?!? I don't know. Maybe I'm just dumb. But can you, guys, try to help me out? With a really easy "user guide" on the topic - s-o- e-a-s-y- t-h-a-t- e-v-e-n- a- n-e-w- b-e-g-i-n-n-e-r- f-r-o-m- N-o-r-w-a-y- m-a-y- u-n-d-e-r-s-t-a-n-d- i-t- ?

hello,
answering a bit late, i just discovered this board (don't even own a NS, but am passionnated by this keyboard for a lonf time !!)
First, you placed your topic in the wrong place (other gear). this may explain the lack of answers !
2nd :i've checked in the manual : it's so damn easy ! i hope you managed it since then… even with a simple english understanding !
reply if you still want an explanation…

I'll reply (I don't have my stage here, but I think I remember it correctly:

First press the "KB zones 2" button. This makes the keyboard split in two for the program you have selected.

Then adjust the split point by pressing kb zones 2 while holding down the shift button. Watch the green LEDs.

Then you select what you want to be in lower and upper parts of the keyboard. Do this by holding shift while pressing the zone select button. For instance, if you want the synth section to play in the upper part of the keyboard, hold shift while pressing the zone select button in the synth section until only the up/hi LEDs are lit.

Hope this answers your question.
