Midi Out Jack

I won't be able to work on my synths for a couple of days, but I wanted to know if the Midi Out jack on the NW can be used as a midi thru. There is nothing in the manual about this. For example, I have an Electro 3 and want to use an original Yamaha KX-5 contoller with both units, having the Nord Wave on channel 1 and the NE on channel 2. Is there a way in the Nord units (without midi thru) to have the signal from the midi in appear at the midi out jack?

Thanks-

Hello DJKeys,
There isn't a way to retransmit midi input, on the midi output, as midi thru with either the NE3 or Wave products.
As an alternate solution, I've had great success with this device:

I purchased mine from Musician's friend http://keyboards-midi.musiciansfriend.c ... D=26048629
The MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru box can be purchased from most musical equipment retailers for $40 to $50 USD.
Cheers, Hanon

Thanks, Hanon-

They make a 1x2 which should work for me. I use a wireless midi system, and the KX-5 transmits on two channels. I can use this and just set up the NW and NE to receive on channels 1 and 2 and I am set!

Cool. BTW, the Nord Wave Rocks.
