Nord Stage 2 eighty eight Power Cord

I'm looking to purchase a couple of power cords for my Stage2 eighty eight. I've looked on the internet and it is not clear at all.
Does the Stage and and the The Stage2 models use a different size cord?

No, they are the same generic "figure eight" type connector cables.

Also, if you're in a pinch, any Radio Shack in the USA will have a power cord that works

Many laptop transform "bricks" use these cables too (between the mains and the brick).

It's common in the UK, but I guess not in the US as i've seen a few people ask.

Very common in the USA. As Mr. G mentioned, many computer battery chargers use them (three in my household). Also commonly found on light-duty printers, boomboxes, camera battery chargers, etc.

I've got one with a square end and I don't think it'll work (square end : http://www.thesource.ca/estore/product. ... ct=6112850 ). This one is from a netbook brick.

Just lost one at my latest gig. Haven't touched my board since then and sat down to play this morning. Turns out it's not in my cable bag. Grrrrrrr.

Yes, the weblink cable looks good and at a nice price too!

Note that your cable which has squared off ends on one side and quickly be converted to a fully compatible "figure-eight" cable with a sharp knife. Just shave away the square corners, round them off.

If you look in amazon, you will see that you need the "non-polarized" version (both connectors are rounded).
