Mr Nordybally (who presented a very good version) is trying to nail the classic lead sound George Whitty uses on his NL3 in this very nice tune http://youtu.be/Oo-hb0sWPWw
and here is my attempt - I'm taking the Elektromin programming approach (the cheesy solo is my own style);
It's the freq and res you adjust the character with!
Recipe
Osc saw + saw one oct up
Osc ctrl (mix) 50%
Filter LP M, KB track 1/3, freq 5.0, res 3.0
A vel morph 3=>0 adds some dynamics, D sust, R 0
Drive 50% adds character
Rev Stage1 2.5
Legato 1.0 - never solo without
Vibrato wheel
