Using NORD DRUM2 with Ableton/Kontakt

Hi all
I wanted to ask if it would be possible to change NI Kontakt instruments by changing midi channels on my Nord? Basically want I want to do is, load one patch of sound per song in Kontakt. Each instrument in Kontakt is on a diff midi channel e.g. 1-16. I want my drummer to change patches with his Nord drum midi channel in Kontakt without me having to do that for him.
Is there a way?

Hi Tristan!
So you're using the Nord Drum2 to trigger samples in Kontakt right?
and you've setup Kontakt so that different sample sets/instruments/patches (whatever they're called) respond to different MIDI channels,
and want the drummer to select which of these he is playing?
The Nord Drum2 sends MIDI on the Global channel that is set in the MIDI menu; press [shift]+[MIDI]button repeatedly until you/he sees [GL.xx] - then he only has to dial in the right MIDI channel with the knob...

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes I want to trigger samples in Kontakt in ableton. Each preset is set to a diff midi channel.
I tried changing Global setting but doesn't seem to work. It seems that no matter what Global setting I set it to, it still triggers midi channel 1. Have a missed something

Hmmm so I seem to have found some progress. If I open Kontakt in standalone it will allow me to change patches however, in ableton this is not the case. No matter what global channel I set it to it will still play the channel 1 on Kontakt

Ok, I think you'll have to check how MIDI is set up & routed in Ableton then,
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Ableton, nor Kontakt, so I can't help you with that...
