Hello all,
So my band has decided to take a stab at Never Been Any Reason by Head East. I'm pretty sure the synth intro and solo is a minimoog but have no clue how to achieve this sound on the Nord Stage. Any help greatly appreciated. I've searched the net extensively with little to no success.

Is there any way to use an nss file on the Stage 2? If not, is there any way to see what settings are in a nss file so that maybe I could create a stage 2 synth sound similar?

Welcome to the forums.

Hi Dale,
As near as I can remember, these were the settings: This should at least get you part of the way there.
Unfortunately, there isn't a good way to view the settings, or load a .nss file into the NS2.

Important factors for the sound are:
Mono (lead synth-like)
Saw wave oscillator waves.
at least two oscillators tuned an octave apart.
24db/oct LP filter with resonance tuned up very high.
a bit of glide to slide between notes (think Minimoog!)

Hi, I'm new on here...just bought a Nord Electro 3....will the above file work on the NE3? If not, does anyone have it in the correct format?
