The effects of humidity

Does hot humid weather effect the keyboard? I'm staying at a hotel on the beach next week and I was thinking of taking my Electro 3 to keep up with my practicing. The weather might be cool next week. I have brought a different keyboard with me in the past, but the Nord is a much better keyboard and I want to take care of it.

I also get a little anxious about it getting stolen, so I usually store it under the bed when I'm out of the room. I also try bringing it up to the room, when it's not to noticeable. Maybe I'm being over cautious.

How humid? Under water? Lol!
Have a look at the Nord factory tour video. They put batches of instruments in a hot room as an endurance test.
I would be worried about sea mist (salty and potentially corrosive in the long run), but just for a week I doubt that it would cause anything at all.
About property at hotels... have you got it insured?

Mr. G is, as usual, correct. Long term exposure to the high humidity and, more significantly, high salt content air of ocean front property is NOT good for ANY electronics, but no real reason to worry about being in a hotel room (probably air-conditioned) for a week.

Bless,

Pablo

Sounds good, thanks Guys. Most often the room is air conditioned, unless it gets cool outside. I don't have it insured and haven't thought of it until now.
