Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know what Keyboard sound was used on the intro to Michael Jackson's 'Man In The Mirror'. Is it a sample that is in the Nord Library, or does anyone have the sample?

Many thanks,

Redface

I resampled the VS Bells 1 off of my Korg M3-88, it seemed to be fairly close.

Here's my last try at it.
I turned up the bottle flute and turned down the bell part.

These are all sampled from my instrument and not from any existing recordings, or any existing licensed sample sets.

Edit:
I finally got my Roland D-50 back that I had loaned a friend.
The patch used in the MJ recording is the stock "Fantasia" patch with the reverb turned up, and the upper/ lower patch balance altered to have less FantasyPCM sound "Bell".

On my Nord Piano 2 these latest samples sound very strange. What's the problem?

Well, it´s not the Fantasia patch on that song, but it´s very similar.
Should do the trick anyway.
Thank you for the sound :)

To revive this old thread..... for someone who might need it.
I sampled the sound that was used for this song. The Roland D-50 "Afterthought" patch.
Will post mp3 tomorrow.
