Tips for short matt Bass kick sound

ND2 Excels to make long decay wet sounds (TR-808 like) but I'm a bit frustrated to not be able to make short bumpy kick sounds.

Any Tips ?

Hi,

1) try the punch parameter
2) try adding a very short pitch bend (similar but stronger effect than punch)
3) try different click types
4) add a short and subtle burst of noise

experiment a lot
