Re: nord lead 2x expression pedal help
Hi mbwc14,
The manual specifies: "you should use a stereo cable (TRS). Please note that the pedal must have a stereo output jack. The resistance range of the Control Pedal should be 10kOhm to 50kOhm."
Make sure that your Line 6 pedal's specs will fill this bill before spending money on it.

Re: nord lead 2x expression pedal help
Just to clarify... the Line 6 M9 is not an expression pedal, but a multi effects unit. Sure you can use that, with your synth but maybe there are way cheaper things than that.
The Zoom MS70CDR or the MS100BT look good and very compact, but I have not heard any comments about how good/bad they are.

Re: nord lead 2x expression pedal help
You would need to chain them together in line like this:
Nord Lead 2x Output ---> [TS9 Input........TS9 Output] ---> [Line 6 Input........Line 6 Output] ---> amplification/mixer/interface/whatever
Or:
Nord Lead 2x Output --->[Line 6 Input........Line 6 Output] ---> [TS9 Input........TS9 Output] ---> amplification/mixer/interface/whatever
The first way is the probably best way for normal use.
On the Line 6 use the Input and Output sockets marked L(MONO)
