NR2X - what does "PEr" mean?
Hi,
I have a Nord Rack 2x, I am using it in Performance mode with Cubase with E-MU X1 USB MIDI interface.
I set Cubase to 100 bpm, started recording and press Shift+Dump One to dump the sysex of current Performance into a MIDI file.
The dumped Performance seems to be ok, I also checked the Sysex code, it contains all four programs plus the additional Performance details.
When I play it back, (just the dump, nothing else) at 100 bpm, I get a message on the display "PEr" which resembles me to an...Error?
What is this "PEr"? I did not find anything about it in the manual.
If it is an error, how to get rid of this?

Re: NR2X - what does "PEr" mean?
I just checked this thing on my NL2X - It seem to be quite normal!
When receiving sysex data from a sequencer and the 2X is in Performance Mode I also get a short "PEr" in the display - and the imported sound/performance simply is "correct" at the current memory/performance number.
I assume "PEr" means "Performance".
When receiving a single program the display shows "A.Pr".
Of course, in both cases you must store the imported sound - otherwise it will be gone when changing the program/performance number.
So, if you actually don't "hear" any problems: keep calm
All the best to you.

Hi,
already contacted to Clavia twice via the support form, but did not get any answer.
Thanks Nordlicht for your description, yes, it can be both PEr(formance) or PEr(ror), I associated the second
but it seems the be the first.. so this is how it works!
BTW, are you the maker of track "Cry?" from early 2000'?
