I never tried this (yet), but was thinking... when you split the lower manual to play bass, that manual actually transmits on two MIDI channels, #2 for the great manual itself (upper 3 octaves), and #3 for bass on the two lower octaves.
So, with a small MIDI module it should be possible to play THREE sounds at once from the C2: organ on upper manual, and two sounds (say, piano and strings) from the lower!
This would give a TON of versatility to a very small and portable setup... anybody ever tried this?

No, there's no simple way to do this via pedal.
You are changing transposition in the middle of a song? Modulating upward?
Bless, Pablo

Hi Ray, Welcome to the forum. The best way is to start a "New Topic" on the subject you want to discuss in the most relevant forum (click on "Forums" in the main portal page). In this case, click on the "Nord C1/ C2 / C2D Organ Forum", that takes you to the topics page, where there is a "NEWTOPIC*" button that opens a new discussion.
You can also use the search facility, sometimes questions might have been asked before with good answers, too.

Here's a vid of mine that will give you an idea of what to expect.
It's my C1 and a Roland JV 1010 module. I keep preset 8 for driving the Roland and can use the sustain pedal of the C1 as well. The rest of the rig is a Leslie 2101 on top with a Yorkville Blok 100K underneath.
Hope this helps.

Hi lightbulb
Would you mind detailing how you do this set up?
Many thanks,
Roger

No biggie. MIDI out from C1to MIDI in on the JV1010. Preset 8 is blank on the upper manual which drives the 1010. I didn't change the MIDI channel from 1. I used the sustain jack on the C1 for the module sustain and disabled it for the lower manual. Since this vid was made I don't use the sustain pedal anymore because I use the Pedalkeys 27 now and don't have room for it. The only issue is no swell pedal for module volume, but with pedal bass and lower manual I can adjust with either hand and have some control.
It's much easier on my NE4D, but when I go big I don't like carrying two full size keyboards, so this gives me the sounds without the additional equipment.

Ok, understood, I Will try it next time even though I might not use it that much as I have the Stage 2 as well...but in fact, I love the way you use the Roland Jazz Scat sound, never thought it could be that good in a slow tempo (as all the demo with this sound are always fast ones)...
Thanks for sharing the video
