Hi Piet,
Don't know the song, but is it just the sound of a plane passing by?

Don't know the song??? Lucky you!!! Listen to it and be amazed by hearing it for the first time!!
As for the sounds, seems to have been a Vickers Viscount plane actually recorded at Heathrow and processed.
These old planes DO have their own sound (check here for a recording on youtube, might actually work, maybe add some phaser/flanger:
Usually, for sound effects with a reasonable license I like http://soundbible.com/, but there seems nothing useful for your request.
Cheers
Johannes

Rather than listening to that song please listen to the whole (White) album with headphones . It has some very odd recording techniques (yet spectacular for the times). Dear Prudence has the bass only in one channel (who would do that now!) and some incredible songs (Sexy Sadie, While my guitar..., Blackbird).
You can skip Revolution 9 , or rather play it once and then reverse it and listen again. Some sections recorded in different directions.

I use the original sound from the CD. If you delete all the music between start and ending of the song, you'll receive a pretty long version of the plane-sound.
This is rahter useful, if you start with the sound, but the other members of your band delayed.

@erasmus: how do you delete the music from the original and keep the plane sound??
I am interested in sampling sounds/FX from other songs too, so how can you "delete" the rest? Is there e special programm you use??

He'll also need to know the Beach Boys to understand the "Ukraine girls and Moscow girls"-part. For me, this is really where the song shines!!
