Hi Guys,

Does anybody know what type of keybed is used in different NE verisons?

I'm not sure what you're asking but but the NE2/NE3 61 and 73 use the semi-weighted waterfall action, while the new NE3 HP 73 uses the Fatar TP100 light weight 'weighted' action for a more piano friendly vibe. It's not as good as the TP40 used in the NP88 and NS2, but it's much better for piano than the semi-weighted waterfall.

thanks for the info. That's exactly what I was looking for. Any idea what fatar keybed is used in waterfall NE 73 and 61?

Fatar TP/80
http://fatar.com/Pages/TP_8O.htm

I assume that any changes in the action from NE2 to NE3 were made by Fatar.

Hi

I got in touch with Tomas of Clavia in Sweden - I just decided to call them directly to get the definitive answer.

Turns out they are using the Fatar TP100 for the HP. So this is the same keybed used in the Numa Nano. Anyone know anything about the action etc?

Enlightening views much appreciated...

D

I'm curious which Fatar action is in my NSEx76.
The Stage 2 is supposed to have an improved response to repeats, so it can't be a TP/40 right?

So far it looks as if the general consensus is:
Nord Electro 61 and 73 has the Fatar TP/8O
Nord Electro 3 73HP has the Fatar TP/100
Nord Stage 2 and Nord Piano have the Fatar TP/40
