I had used this same technique as well for doing the intro to the Lover Boy song, Turn Me Loose. The second quick note has to be hit after the first low note is released, the third octave has to be played before releasing the second so the glide takes place. Works at the original tempo of the record. I also included the other patch I use for the song which has the poly synth in the left split and the percussive sound in the right.
