Copying from Program to Performance mode (NL4)?

Hi,

When working in Program-Mode in the NL4, I have the NL4 (Rack), is it possible to copy all four programs that are assigned to the four slots (A,B,C,D) , then switch to Performance-Mode, and Paste them to the same slots (A,B,C,D) in Performance , then save the Performance ?

I thought this would be a useful feature to have, but I'm not sure if it is currently possible to do this ?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Muziksculp

From page 11 of the manual:

Storing a Performance
To Store a combination of Slots that you have made, hold Shift and
press Store once. Press Perf Mode to activate Performance Mode, turn
the Program Dial to select a location (A, b xx) and confirm by holding
Shift and pressing Store once more.
The last 10 locations in Performance bank b (b.41 - b.50) are
empty when the Nord Lead 4 leaves the factory.

Hi Muziksculp,

Marko's response was right on the money, but it may help you if I state the obvious: you do not need to go through fancy copy/paste operations to do what you want. If you are working in Program Mode and have four slots populated the way you would want them in a Performance, then simply store the whole mess as a Performance...by following the procedure quoted from the manual by Marko.

Bless,

Pablo

Hi Marko7 & pablomastodon,

Thanks for your help.

I tried it, and It works great, pretty simple to do. I guess I didn't pay close attention to this detail in the user manual.

Cheers,
