Time for a new grand piano now......

Hi there....
I was really glad about new piano releases from Clavia....
very good improvement of pre-existing sounds....if you like "amped" effect

I'd like to see a NEW GRAND PIANO now....
I use Grand Lady D , it fits perfectly on what I do , I think a lot of people like me use Lady D as main piano( I use it for...."theatre and songwriter" kind of concert....... , in the...."BIG MESS"

Yamaha come out better from the mix IMHO...) and I think now is time for a new big sounding Steinway Piano..... they did for Yamaha , new Fazioli and Bosendorfer , the latest upright Yamaha is GREAT!!!!!
I quote new Steinway.....and quote Clavia....
maybe is on his way for Frankfurt Messe.....
what you think?

I just know I'm going to be in the minority here, but my favourite Grand Pianos are the Studio 1 and Studio 2.
Anyway, the problem is not that we need a new Grand Piano, the problem is that there's not enough space to fit in the instruments we already have. I own an NE4 73 SWL and even if I had the same space as a Nord Stage for pianos and other sounds (500 /380 MB, I believe), I would still be struggling.
With the 380 / 128 MB I currently have, I need to make some really harsh decisions on what to keep in, and what to drop.
It's a hard life!

I agree. I do not think we are short of pianos, there is plenty to choose from and all of very good quality.
The new CP80 comes in stereo and mono (saving about half the ram). If that was also done for all other samples, we could fit twice as much, and since many play in mono anyway, it would not make a lot of difference if the mono mix is carefully done.

I second that, a good quality
mono grand piano would make many people very happy!
As for the "I am low on space" comments, I am very happy I have so many pianos to choose from that I cannot fit them on my board!

Just be happy guys, that's what we've asked for!

Id like a romantic German Grand piano such as bechstein, blüthner....Warm Pianos...
Or even a " shigeru Kawai"....

I'd like to see Kawai pianos, when I bought mine, I thought it was much better than the Yamahas, and if I recall correctly I heard Andy Laverne, who I saw on the Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshop, preferred the sound of the Kawai over the many Steinways the Louisville University has.
+1 for the mono pianos.

+1 for a Kawai (or Shigeru Kawai) sample.
...but not before an improved Clav with key-off samples.
Oh, and a Pianet!
