Nord Lead 3 "unknow" pedal connection

Hello, i'm new in the forum so....nice to meet you 
There are two pedal connection on my Nord Lead 3 rack. One is a normal switch pedal connection, the other one says "not in use". Someone than knows what that means? I tried to use a expression pedal as itself
but does'nt work.
I still don't understand how to post a photo to show you an example my Nord 's back panel
