Synclavier sample for the main lead sound from Mama.
note: the first notes of the song are G4 to F#4 you will notice that D4 and D#4 also play these notes but have portemento. So at the very begining play D and D# and then to G and F# for the main part of the song.
Add LOTS of reverb.
Enjoy

Do you have an arpeggiator function on NS2? That might help. Play a single note, set the tempo, hold the piano key down??

And: Do you have this sample with the right notes ? I mean without G4 and F#4 laying down on D4 and D#4.
Thanks a lot.

I have a Stage 3 program you could try recreating on your Stage 2 posted at
nord-stage-3-programs-ns3p-ns3pb-files- ... ma#p142746. I don't use a sample but you could use the one posted above for one panel and use my program to cover the other. The Nord Stage 2 and 3 program viewer by florence posted at
nord-stage-forum-f3/ns3-program-viewer-t19939.html can be used to view the settings.

Hello, perhaps you can use my NS3 program suggested above to create a NS2 version if the sample isn't working out. Vibrato or Modulation LFO can be added to the "ghost" sound if you want a little more motion in the sound. You also have the option of loading the sample above, recording the individual notes except the out-of-key notes (D4, D#4,..) to a wave file, and then creating another sample from that wave file using the Nord Sample Editor. Take care

Given a recent request, I used my Stage 3 program to put together the NSMP file below that has both the "ghost" sound and the Arp Quadra sound. For the MP3, a B3 provides the starting drone sound (held with the sustain pedal), and then I come in with the sample sounds. Lots of reverb helps with this one. Take care.
