Can anyone tell me if the " Nord lead 1 virtual analog" can read nsmp samples ?

It cannot. The Wave can of course, but whether you consider that part of the Lead series is the question; I probably would, but going by the name Nord give it, they have different ideas there.

I have a nord wave, and recently I got a nord lead 1

nord lead 1 sounds a bit rough but thanks to very fast envelope attack it also sounds very biting and also the oscillator waveform feel is even somewhat clear and transparent, sorry for the abstract metaphor. It's still is a great synth, no wonder it started all as the world's first synth with VA synthesis name. The sonic variety is surprisingly wide with this beast, even possible are the ones that are difficult to guess how they are made. Also the morphing function is always great as it allows something not possible with the vintage synths. It is a modern new innovation with the digital technology with the respect to age old analog synths.
Also comparing my nord lead 1 with my nord wave, it's interesting to see how they evolved and at the same time maintained consistency, even to the layout of the front panel.
