Hi,
I just had a weird experience; I was experimenting with pad sensitivity and threshold settings,
With Thres. 0, (and Sens. 100), I get random spontaneous triggering of channel 2, 5, occasionally other channels, (but never 1 and 6), even without any pads connected - simple 'work-around' is raising Sens to 1..
I admit these are extreme -no real-life- settings, perhaps making it react to small EMI/RFA - and perhaps revealing small differences between the inputs - or is my unit defective?
Anyone else?
Cheers,
Albert

Re: ND2 Spontaneous triggering?
I have noticed that my iPhone can cause triggering on my ND2. It's funny, my ND2 will alert me for someone calling me or sending SMS before my phone rings... This ain't very big deal, but I must remember to put my phone to flight mode when something is recorded from ND2.
cheers,
P

Re: ND2 Spontaneous triggering?
yeah, perhaps not so surprising, and I've just read some similar stories about other brands of drum units,
I am slightly puzzled still why channels 2 and 5 seem to be more sensitive to this than the others,
welll, ..perhaps I should stop worrying now, and continue playing
