Hi all,
Has anyone got any Arp Pro Soloist patches in nsmp format? Was hoping that Clavia would include some in their recent Arp selection, but no joy (yet?). Anyone care to upload some?
Oli

I have recently sampled a Kawai 100p (aka
Teisco S100p), which is bascially a clone of the Arp Pro Soloist (built by Kawai under license from Arp, I believe) with a few more sounds. I sampled the full range of 5 octaves (you can transpose the 3 octave keyboard +/- 1 octave) in minor third steps (c, eb, f#, a) at full brightness without modulation. Where possible, I recorded the sound with the full decay, for sustained sounds I sampled about 2-3 seconds each note.
I have only started to cut and loop the samples (only done the Fuzz Guitar so far), though, because it's a lot of work and I didn't have the time for it.
If you are interested in the raw samples, drop my a PM and we can work something out. I would be willing to give you the samples if you promise to share your results and the intermediate steps.

Nice catch! How much did you pay for it?
I'll send you a download link for the samples later tonight (they amount to around 90Mb).
