Nord Stage with Organ Pedals.

I'm a pianist/organist, who mainly prefers weighted keys, and would love to get a nord stage with organ pedal setup, The Nord C2 has a bass pedal pin adaptor on it's back panel for accepting the Nord pedal board.

The question here, is how to set up keyboard splits with internal Stage sounds, one sound on the Stage Keyboard, and the other split being controlled by an external midi keyboard. This way any midi pedals could be used. Is the Extern Function used for this, or this that for controlling an external synth, like an access virus desktop with the stage keyboard?

Thanks for the Help,

Lucky.

You should be able to just use the Dual KB feature. I use this to do gigs with my NS and another MIDI keyboard, which means I can play the Organ sound from the 2nd MIDI keyboard (using Panel B) and have a Piano on Panel A to play on the NS' own keyboard.

So if you setup your MIDI pedalboard to the dual keyboard midi channel (default is 16 I think), enable Dual KB on the Nord. The pedalboard will play whatever you have set for Panel B, and the Nord's keyboard will play Panel A.

correct.
just keep in mind you will only be able to play registry settings from SUB to 8th (used for upper and lower manual), not the specific dedicated bass registers you'll find on the NC2...
