welcome to the forums!
Great first post!! Very nice sound, indeed I really like the original sound and it gets there with all the extra bells and whistles.
Cheers,
Johannes
PS. I movey the two posts together since double posts should be avoided, plus this section is for nsmp samples, and the search function, google, or clicking on "New Posts" (http://www.norduserforum.com/search.php ... d=newposts) gets all relevant posts to be seen by people interested.
nice patch - i'm curious about what sources you used to create this sound, did you sample VST plugins, or some module, or what? thanks

I produced this sound with my Electro 4, sample 28, sustain pedal pressed, hitting all the Gm (G-Bb-D) notes from left to right. Then you'll want to have your B3 sound set, then advance to Sample 13 for the Mellotron solo, then the rest of the song is B3
And here's the tougher descending chords in the bridge: (you were caught/well you wore): Gm, F# (#5), Bb/F, Gdim/C
And the ascending (Come on you's) Eb, Gdim/E, Bb/F, Dm7, D7/F#, Gm
Bro thanks for that sample it is absolutely fantastic, I've been thinking on doing my own version of "Shine On" and now you have given me the sample I've been looking for, thank you
Thanks for the sample Dave but I'm not sure how to use it since you've sampled a Gm chord. Consequently when I play a Gm chord it sounds weird so the sample only works when I hit a single note. Is this intentional? Can you resample around a major note so the sample can be used with any chord?
Thx
