Control Pedal set up

I have a stage 2 and just purchased a Boss FV500L and it doesn't seem to want to work as a control pedal.
I've followed the steps on this thread, but nothing seems to be working...

I'd been working on this for a few hours and finally turned to the forums for help, only to find the problem moments later. Turns out the control pedal port isn't working properly.

You are using a TRS cable (stereo) on the EXP connector , don't you?

That would be my questIon also. To use that pedal your cable must be TRS or "Stereo".

Hey, thanks for the reply, and sorry I didn't reply sooner, but it turns out the control pedal port on my keyboard doesn't work properly and the lead has to be about half a centimetre out to work..

Are you using a tip-ring-sleeve cable? The behavior you describe is consistent with using the wrong cable.
