A really easy question........channels & programs

Hi, I'm really confused as to whether my Nord drum is not working. When I switch between channels (using the channel select button obviously), the program is the same on each channel. So, all four channels can only have one program eg P15.
I presume that each channel can have a different program. Am I horribly mistaken? Are there any settings that might be causing this problem?
I can't remember how it used to work as I haven't used it in a while.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks Andre

I think a single program contains four channels, so that would match with what you're seeing. I know you can copy the contents of channels between different programs (or different channels in the same program), which to me suggests that you cannot (directly) load a different program on each channel.
Btw. I don't have a Nord Drum myself, so I might just be wrong

Yes, a Program consists of and contains four channels, each of which can hold an independent voice. These voices can be copied/pasted from channel to channel within a single program and also from program to program.
