How to transfer NE3 sounds/samples to NE4?

sorry if this has been addressed before....could not find the info through a search. just got the NE4 SW73 and want to transfer all my sounds and samples from the NE3 73. i imagine this is done thru Sound Manager, but can it be done as a folder or large file instead of transferring each individual sound and/or sample?

There's no official way to do it.

Someone found a way to do it, but it was a bit of a hack - he posted about it in this section, but I didn't search for it.

What you could also try is the following:

• Make a full backup of your NE3, which will give you a NEB file
• Rename the NEB file so the name ends in .zip
• Extract the contents of the zip file
• If you look in the directories that were contained in the backup, you should see your samples and individual sounds; you can try uploading those to your NE4 using the sound manager

I don't have an Electro myself, so I don't know if this works, but other than the hack I mentioned before, this seems like the most promising option to me (a bit labour intensive though). Since the organ emulation in the NE4 is newer than that of the NE3, I can image the organ programs may sound somewhat different (or perhaps the Sound Manager will refuse to load them for the NE4).

thanks ! i also found this post and tried it. after unzipping, it gives you separate folders for Piano, Programs, Samples, etc.

tried bulk loading but doesn't work. i guess it's going to be loading the individual sounds....
