hi Mike.
welcome to this forum!
the NS classic has an internal memory of approx 128Mb for piano samples. from
http://www.nordkeyboards.com you can easily download any samples you want and transfer them to the NS through USB. by piano samples i mean acoustic and different types of electric pianos. compatible samples has a file name ending with
".npno".
what you can't influence is the organ engine. minor upgrades may have happened during OS updates. don't know for sure...
hope this helps.

Yes toro.larsson is correct. In addition I just want to make sure that you understand that there is a difference between the piano library and the sample library.
The Nord Stage (classic /EX) can only use the samples from the Piano Library. That means acoustic and electric pianos of different sorts. You can erase any sound you don't want and load new ones instead up to 128 mb.
However the Nord Stage (classic/EX) can not use samples from the Sample Library. That is mellotron/strings/synths/guitar/bass and many other sounds.
The Nord Stage does has it's own organ and synth engine that has alot of cool possibilities though. But these are not sample based (which is a good thing so they are more tweakable).
