Choosing samples

Hi, my name is Diego, I´m a Stage Compact owner and I´m going to buy a Nord Wave, my question is, once you downloaded the whole pack of the Mellotron Strings (for example) that are 110,6 mb unlopped, if you can choose a couple of sounds from it to put them in the Wave, and not the whole pack.
Thanks.

Hello !

Indeed, you can.
In the Nord Wave, you can upload or download, or delete, or move any ".nsmp" sample.
You need the Nord Stage samples to be "nsmp"... but I don't know anything about the NordStage ...
I only own a Nord Wave.
So, if the NS samples are "nsmp" samples, you can do that, ... using the Sound Manager program.

Try and tell me.

Bye !

Thanks for the answer, I have another question, I know that there is no split function in the Wave but can you tell me if there is a way to split it by tweaking the lfos and oscillators.
Thanks again.

Hello !

To split the NW keyboard (I haven't done yet), I would assign a wave sample to the right two octaves and another one to the left two ones,
programming the volume level differently.

I don't see anything else .. unless someone got the solution.

Bye !

Hi !
About splitting and regulating volume level :
I think I would decide the volume level inside each sample at the moment when I create them and save the sample (nsmp) then.
("output" level button on right top of the Nord Wave). I am aware it's a self-made solution.

Bye !
