Digital out on Electro 3?

Is there no digital audio output on the Electro 3? Do I really have to run the analog outputs into my mixer's A/D converters needlessly? Or is there a way to use the USB connector as a digital out?

NE3 is mostly designed for live performance which doesn't require digital output. Consequently it has no digital output.
