Very sad news today. First seemed to be a hoax, but apparently it's true.

Heard this on the radio this morning. A very bad surprise, he was still touring in 2010.

He will not be forgotten, the Doors were unique.

The first time I saw a Doors LP I saw the credits and wondered who played bass? Then I found out he did it himself at the same time as the organ, and it worked. Basically, he held the sound together.
