I have a solution for people who want various samples. I have owned many iterations of the Electro and the Stage. I would suggest a keyboard in between the Electro and the Stage hat could play layered samples. Piano/strings anyone ? I don't need all the capAbilities of the Stage, but would prefer the ability to layer 2 samples. perhaps a limted number of Splits & Layer. Also the possibility of a tiered system for samples. I would certainly appreciate any comments.

the upcoming nord piano 2 HP could be that: a Nord Piano with basic splits and layers (only 2-part multitimbral) for the typical piano-strings parts.
Light and portable, and without the organ and synth section of the Stage, that many pianists will never use.

I don't think Nord will release another wave, they'll go with another update of the Electro again. Something with something that nobody wants.
