I recently got a Nord Wave and am slowly learning my way around. Although I've played keys for sometime I'm really new to synthesis so appreciate any help, no matter how basic.
Does anyone have any recommendations for software/equipment that will help create live loops? I essentially want to record my own loops and then continue to layer on top of those. Given there is not built-in recording available, what's the best way to do this live?
Thanks

How about a loop pedal? Simple and reliable.
There are lots to choose from, from really basic to complex contraptions with effects, vocal repitching, etc.
If using a laptop or an iPad is an option, there are also several options.
I've been looking up a number of different pedals and came across this one as probably the most I'd want to spend, but that I can control from my desk with my hands. What do you think? http://www.turramusic.com.au/Pages/Cata ... ?CIID=3904 - Not really sure exactly what kind of specifications I should be looking out for.
Also I've started playing around with Reaper on my computer but would need an audio interface to converse between my synth and pc. This is probably a stupid question but if I buy a looping pedal like the one above would I still need to get an audio interface or will it do the same job?
Any help is appreciated!

Wouldn't starting with a somewhat simpler (and possibly cheaper) one be a good idea? Maybe something like the Digitech JamMan Stereo?
The page below lists some looper pedals in different 'categories' and has some 'reviews.'
