Editors via MIDI?

can my Stage 2 access the Nord Sample/Sound Editor via MIDI in/out an a MOTU MicroLite or is the only access to the Editors gotten by USB?

Only USB. The updating is not done via MIDI; sending a complete backup to the Stage 2 (512 + 384 MB) would take a whopping 3.4 days (or more). It is slow enough as it is

I remember backing up samplers by MIDI. Yawn. Make a cup of tea, have dinner. Come back, find it had failed. Happy days!
