Pretty self explanatory, any of you guys on a list somewhere?
Apparently the date originally touted of May 9th is no longer correct so it's looking more like end of May/early June.
Can't wait to molest that beast!

Think the first sound I'll try and sculpt will be wind and tumbleweed!

Hi!
The ND2 sure seems to have great new features!!!
(unfortunately I'm not ordering yet, has to do with my current budget more than anything else )

The ND2 does seem to have a lot improvements over the first IMO;

- CC control over parameters, I'd really like to experiment with controlling parameters with the foot, (or with a DAW) !
- stereo (I'm not a 'pro' - I do miss it in the ND1)
- headphones out, very practical
- more channels, always handy, nice to make a tuned percussion set etc, or a more complete "drum setup"
- with distortion onboard I can leave one unit at home!

With ND1 I am editing parameters with one hand while playing with the other, channel by channel, my fingers get all tangled, so:
- I like the new group editing!!
- and the new button for red/lower parameters!

- More options in tone section, FM is a nice addition!

Does anyone have an idea what 'resonance modelling' could be??
- perhaps resonance between channels as in tuned percussion? -or just filter resonance?

Perhaps I should try and sell my ND1 now...

Hey!
Yeah it's looking line a winner for me! There is so much I love about the original and the ND2 will be even better. I'll really have to discipline myself and not buy another Nord Drum when they start going really cheap! I dream of having a whole slew of NDs and ND2s!
I think maybe the resonance modelling is about being able to tune the fundamental separate from the overtones, allowing the sculpting of sounds that change after the initial excitation. In one of the tube vids the fantastic guy from Nord is demonstrating an 808 based kit and when he triggers the open hat, it rings at a different pitch after the initial hit, almost like a multilayered sample that has a slowere attack on the tail.

Whatever the hell it is, I'll be battering it!
Without sounding like a madman, the ND2 could be all the synth I need, I found myself using midi to trigger all four channels bit with delays between the triggers to get more mileage out of the engine, just sample the results and carry on. With the FM due and the resonance biz there should be fun for many years to come.
I also noticed a lot more G2 type sounds from the ND2, especially the noise end.

Can't wait anyway... :)

I couldn't resist.. I also pre-ordered!!

I think you're right, the resonance modelling is probably to tweak overtones ..,

- hope there will be a product page on the Clavia site soon !!!

On the website of a vendor it first said it was going to ship beginning/mid June, - now it says mid July :(

can't wait!

Hey!
Well done that man! It's defo a great unit, but the wait is painful!
I've checked dates and even heard it was supposed to be released last week but obviously not. Wonder if the riots have affected business plans maybe?
Either way I am eagerly awaiting it's arrival so fingers crossed it's soon.
I've been looking for a manual to be uploaded too so at least you have some 'rhythm literature' to enjoy!

Pffffff!
